Grazie alla sua posizione favorevole si raggiungono facilmente le città d’arte come Lucca ( 12 Km), Pisa ( 30 Km, Firenze (50 Km) e la Garfagnana. . Le spiagge della Versilia e di Viareggio distano solo 18 Km; facili e suggestive mete sono anche Siena e San Gimignano.
Il borgo medievale di Montecarlo vive della sua rinomata tradizione nel produrre vini pregiati (sia I.G.T. che D.O.C.).
La villa, immersa nel verde, è composta da una sala relax con tv e camino, cucina, tre camere da letto doppie e un ampio bagno con vasca e doccia, lavanderia e terrazza-solarium. Può ospitare 6/8 persone. Il giardino privato è dotato di una zona barbecue ed un area giochi attrezzata per bambini.
Villa Carmignani is located in the hilly district of Montecarlo, a lovely medieval village near the artistic town of Lucca. The wine-producing culture and the best wine tradition have been in accordance to the D.O.C requirements and regulations for a long time. The farmhouse is placed in a green estate surrounded by olive trees and vineyards: it lies in a wide garden provided with a patio.
It’s an ideal place to spend a holiday week in a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Ideal base for visiting:
Lucca: 15 KM (15 minutes drive);
Florence: 50 KM( an hour drive);
Pisa: 40 KM ( half an hour drive);
Siena: 80 KM ( an hour and a half drive);
Versilia beaches: 25 KM ( twenty-five minutes drive);
Garfagnana Mountains Natural Park: (an hour drive).
This beautiful farmhouse has got only one floor. It is composed of a large living room with a fireplace, and a completely furnished kitchen provided with electric oven, dishwasher and washing machine, a dining room, three double bedrooms (en-suite: bathtub or shower). There is a patio where you can enjoy your meals in the garden and a grill barbecue outside.( Accomodates 6/8.) There are excellent walking paths in the country and you should really appreciate them on foot or by bicycle, just making a stop to try the local production (essentially oil and wine) and relax in one of the many inns along the streets nearby.
